Two rotators. Lift it, don't drag it.
A rotator's boom swings a full 360 degrees and lifts like a crane. It's the right tool for rollovers, tight scenes, and heavy lifts across central Nebraska, and we run two of them.
What a rotator does differently
A standard heavy wrecker pulls and winches from behind or in front of a unit. A rotator can lift and swing the load, so we can upright, pick up, and set a loaded unit from wherever the truck can safely stand. That often means less damage to the tractor, the trailer, and the cargo, and a scene that can clear sooner.
When to ask for a rotator
- Rollovers. Uprighting loaded tractors and trailers with control.
- Tight scenes. Working from the shoulder or one lane, or from a single spot when there's no room to set up behind the unit.
- Lifts over obstacles. Ditches, guardrails, embankments, and soft ground where dragging isn't an option.
- Heavy lifts that aren't wrecks. Equipment and loads that need to be picked, not pulled. We also offer forklift and crane service.
Not sure which you need? Describe the scene to dispatch and we'll send the right equipment.
Backed by the rest of the heavy fleet
Our rotators work alongside 3 heavy-duty wreckers, a complete air cushion setup, load transfer equipment, 3 semi tractors, and 4 equipment hauling trailers. One call covers the lift, the tow, the load, and storage.
Questions about rotator service
What is a rotator?
A rotator is a heavy wrecker with a boom that swings a full 360 degrees and lifts like a crane. It can pick up and set loaded units from where the truck can safely stand, instead of dragging them.
How many rotators do you have?
Two, along with three heavy-duty wreckers.
When do you need a rotator instead of a wrecker?
Rollovers, tight scenes, lifts over ditches or obstacles, and jobs where lifting protects the unit or the cargo. Describe the scene to dispatch and we'll send the right equipment.
Do you do heavy lifts that aren't wrecks?
Yes. We offer forklift and crane service and lift equipment and loads that need to be picked, not pulled.
